Auto accidents caused by reckless driving are one of the most common types of accidents. Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is one of the most negligent and careless examples of reckless driving that cause thousands of deaths every year. However, distracted driving, aggressive driving, and fatigued driving can be just as dangerous. Distracted driving has increased over the past several years, and many officials believe it is in correlation to the technological advancements directly related to cell phones. In fact, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported that texting is six times more dangerous than drunk driving.
