A tragic bicycle accident caused the death of a man on Tuesday afternoon. The accident happened when the bicyclist and a big rig truck collided in Redondo Beach, California. Police reported that the collision occurred at around 2:45 p.m. when a 29-year-old man was traveling on his bicycle along Hawthorne Boulevard when a tractor-trailer turned, blocking his path. The bicyclist was unable to avoid the crash and collided with the rear tires of the truck’s trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and the driver of the truck was uninjured.
