Authorities in Readington Township, New Jersey have arrested a man for a fatal DUI accident that killed a set of grandparents. The accident happened on Friday at around 2:25 p.m. According to police, a 79-year-old man, his 75-year-old wife, their son and two grandchildren were traveling southbound on Route 523 when a 43-year-old man crossed the center line and the vehicles collided. The head-on collision caused the death of the grandparents and the other three family members were taken to hospitals for injuries sustained. The driver of the other vehicle has been arrested for DUI and several other related charges. His bond has been set at $250,000.
