An auto accident involving two vehicles and a bicycle sent six people to the hospital on Monday evening. The accident happened in north St. Louis during the evening rush hour at approximately 5:50 p.m. The St. Louis police stated that a driver was attempting to flee from police making a traffic stop when he collided with another vehicle near the intersection of Minerva and Belt Avenues. After the collision, the vehicle then struck a bicyclist. Six people, two adults and four children, were taken to the hospital for injuries sustained and one person is listed in critical condition. Police have arrested the driver and charges are pending.
