A Chicago bus accident has injured at least eight people this week. Authorities report a CTA bus accident occurred this past Monday, just after 9 a.m. in the Chatham neighborhood area. According to CTA officials, the southbound bus was struck when a northbound vehicle crossed into the bus’ path at Cottage Grove and 81st Street.
Six emergency responders were called to the scene of the crash. The driver of the bus and at least seven other adults were transported to local hospitals to receive medical attention for their injuries. All those injured are reported to recover. It is unknown if the driver of the other vehicle suffered injuries in the crash. The accident is still under investigation.
