A Pine Lawn resident is frustrated and scared after finding a police cruiser crashed in her front yard during an auto accident. According to authorities, a City of St. Louis police cruiser ended up in a resident’s front yard after hitting two parked vehicles late last night. At around 11:30 p.m., police report the squad car crashed in the yard of a resident’s house on Rosewood and Reichman after swerving to avoid a dark-colored sedan that ran a stop sign. The officers were in the Mark Twain neighborhood conducting a traffic stop on a silver Audi. The Audi refused to pull over and fled from officers. The police car then swerved to avoid an accident, inadvertently damaging two parked cars and stopped in a front yard. It is unclear if the police were able to arrest the drivers of the other vehicles involved in the chain of events last night. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
