A hit and run resulted in the death of a 47-year-old St. Louis man after a motorcycle accident last week in north St. Louis. The motorcyclist was struck and killed after a Chevy Traverse collided with the motorcycle around 12:35 a.m. According to police, the Chevy Traverse hit the rear of the motorcycle on Clara Street at Natural Bridge, causing the 47-year-old motorcyclist to be thrown from the bike. The Traverse then rolled over and crashed into two light standards, as well as a tree, before it came to a stop. The driver of the Traverse then fled the scene of the crash. Passengers inside the Traverse included a 14-year-old girl and a 28-year-old man and both were treated for minor injuries. The motorcyclist died at the scene of the crash. Police continue to look for the suspect.
