The family of a Missouri motorcyclist killed in a hit-and-run is still looking for answers after the September crash. As they came together over the Thanksgiving holiday, they hope for resolution and plea for answers. A niece and spokesperson for the family spoke of her uncle who was killed in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident in Washington Park on September 19.
Washington Park police say the accident happened around 6:30 p.m. near Kingshighway and Hallows Avenue. Authorities say they are looking for a 23-year-old suspect who was driving a dark-colored car and struck the motorcyclist and fled the scene. The Washington Park Police Department Chief says the driver dragged the motorcyclist for several feet, then backed up, turned around, and drove away.
The victim’s family is devastated and frustrated that the case is still unresolved. The family hopes that investigators are closer to finding out who killed their loved one. Washington Park police are asking anyone with information on the motorcycle accident to please contact the police department. If someone has information and wants to remain anonymous, they can call Crime Stoppers.
