Today emergency crews work quickly to rescue a worker who is trapped in a construction accident in Ladue. Authorities say a Missouri man is trapped after a chimney collapsed during extraction around 8:30 a.m. this morning in the 400 block of South Price Road. On the scene, emergency personnel says the man is alive and is injured. The St. Louis County's heavy equipment rescue team and other emergency crews are working quickly to extract the man from the wreckage. It is still unknown exactly what happened to cause the construction accident but witnesses say during an extraction of the chimney, it fell on the excavator with such force that it smashed the machinery and trapped the worker in the cab.
