A two-year-old Kansas girl is dead after a vicious dog attack. According to authorities, a 2-year-old girl has been found dead from an apparent dog attack at a Kansas City resident’s home. The name of the 2-year-old girl who was killed has been released, according to the local news. Police were called to a missing child emergency on Saturday night. They found the child’s body in the yard and also seized two dogs from the fenced property. Police immediately reported the toddler died of an animal attack. The investigation has been sent to the to the Shawnee County district attorney's office for a thorough review. Officers have interviewed people involved that were included in the report sent to the district attorney's office. More details have not been released, and it is unknown if the child was found in the yard owned by her parent. The investigation continues.
