Ravin Crossbows are recalling arrow nocks due to possible injury hazards. The company reports that if the nock is not engaged fully with the bowstring then the bow can fail to discharge when the trigger is pulled. This can cause the bow to discharge while it is being re-nocked and cause an injury to the user. This recall affects around 220,000 nocks and users are being urged to immediately stop using the product. Consumers should contact the company directly for replacement nocks for free. The nocks were sold at Cabela’s, Dicks Sporting Goods, Bass Pro Shops and various stores nationwide from October 2016 through November 2017 between $8 and $15. The affected nocks were also included with Raven crossbows and Raven arrows.
