What Is Tasigna?

Tasigna belongs to a class of drugs called tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). These types of drugs are supposed to block the protein Bcr-Abl, and prevent leukopenia cells from growing.

However, research has shown that Tasigna has been linked to atherosclerosis, a dangerous and life-threatening disease that causes plaque to build up in the arteries.
